PAUL WYNTER

Paul Wynter joined Guardian Asset Management -Trinidad in December 2010 having previously worked with Guardian Asset Management- Jamaica since  its inception in 2002. At Gaurdian Asset Management-Jamaica he initially held the position of Vice President Finance and Operations and was later promoted to Snr. Vice President Finance, Risk, Research and IT Operations. He was seconded to Trinidad in 2006 and successfully lead the business implementation of a new investment management and accounting system for the Trinidad and Jamaica investment operations .

His career spans over 16 years in the financial service, unit trust and credit union industries in Jamaica and prior to joining Guardian Asset Management Jamaica he was Vice President Finance and Operations at Sigma Investment Management Systems Limited and Sigma Unit Trust Managers Limited (now Pan Caribbean Financial Services Limited). He also held the non executive position of President and Chairman of the Board Directors of one of Jamaica’s medium sized credit unions. Paul has also gained considerable experience in audit and accounting having been an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent 8 years.

Paul holds a BSc Degree in Accounting from the University of the West Indies (Mona) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
